Amstep 200 Series non-slip nosings are available in a choice of seven attractive colors, capable of blending with any decor.  How to specify Amstep 200 safety nosings The tread base shall consist of heat treated 6063-T6 Amstep Products, LLC extruded aluminum. The abrasive filler material shall be bonded and locked into the channels provided in the extruded tread base. Treads will have a coefficient of friction 1.02 dry, 0.98 wet per ASTM F609-79. Suitable for both interior or exterior use, Amstep 200 Series' proven non-slip safety is provided by super-hard abrasives locked into a sturdy, extruded aluminum base of alloy 6063-T6, heat-treated for high-strength. They're ideal for medium to heavy pedestrian use with poured or precast concrete, terrazzo, steel pan cement-filled or wood stairs.
